I cannot login because my user ID and/or password is not working.

Answer

To TROUBLE SHOOT:   
1) Please make sure to verify that user ID you are typing matches user ID you received in your initial email. Characters like I, l, 1, O, 0 are often hard to distinguish. Try going back to the original email that the user received that included their User ID and Password and cut and paste into. 
2) Many people have multiple User ID's and passwords, please ensure that the User ID you are using is for the database or application you are trying to access, and the password is appropriate for it.   
3) If you have attempted more than 3 or more times your account could have been suspended due to too many attempts, an unsuspend and new password reset will be needed.  Contact your local TASO/AISSO to review your account. If the TASO/AISSO are unable to resolve this issue, create a AskSASO ticket requesting  User/Password assistance. 
4) If the issue persist submit a ticket through AskDFAS at https://corpweb1.dfas.mil/askDFAS/welcome.action   Select Ask SASO then Submit a Ticket selection your application as the category and Password Reset as a subcategory.
