How can I reset my password in DCPS?

Answer

For DCPS:  if you do not remember your password, it is not working, you have not logged in within 30 days (or 10 days if you had a temporary password), your password may need reset.

This can be done by contacting the following customer care numbers:
Indianapolis - For Password resets please contact 888-332-7366, option 3.
Cleveland - For Password resets please contact 800-729-3277

During normal business hours the SASO office can reset your DCPS password, please go the in Ask SASO https://ask.dfas.mil/askDFAS/custMain.action?mid=5540 and follow these steps: 
1. Click Submit a Ticket, enter Category DCPS and Sub Category Password Resets.  
2. Complete the form and in the "Question" section indicate the action you need, i.e. Password reset only, unlock and password reset, or unlock only along with your User ID(s) that require a password reset.   NOTE:  If you have more than one User ID, please ensure to indicate the User ID for any database that requires the reset.
3.  Submit the ticket.

For password reset assistance outside normal business hours, users may contact the DISA Global Service Desk (GSD) toll-free number for assistance. GSD Operators are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist with after hours password issues. DISA GSD is unable grant new access or reset passwords for user accounts in a revoked status.
