Why is the myPay PIV Registration / Login failing while using Citrix Workplace?

Answer

During peak office hours (8 a.m. -- 4 p.m. Eastern) DOE Citrix Workplace users may experience failed Smart Card registration and/or Smart Card authentication. This is a known limitation within the DOE Citrix Workplace environment. If you experience this issue and have questions please contact the EITS Service Desk (HQ Local/toll: 301-903-2500 or Toll Free: 866-834-6246). This is not a myPay limitation and myPay Customer Care will not be able to resolve these issues.
For Smart card registration we suggest DOE Citrix Workplace users complete the Smart Card registration process during off peak office hours. 
DOE Citrix Workplace users should utilize Login ID and password to login to myPay during office hours to avoid failed Smart Card login failures.
