I have received supporting debt documentation from your office and still disagree that this debt is valid. What do I need to do to submit a dispute?

Answer

If you disagree with your debt, you may submit an inquiry to our office.  Please include an explanation of your reasons for disagreeing with the debt and provide any documentation that supports your claim.  

For Military Pay and Entitlement debt protests, you may submit an inquiry through the AskDFAS Dispute Debt -- Military Pay & Entitlements Form.

For all other debt types, your protest can be submitted to our office through the following forms.
