Question

How can I check the status of a claim I have submitted?

Answer

For checking status of vouchers sent to DFAS for processing and payment, use one of the methods below. 

1.  Text alerts are available. To receive text alerts please opt into receiving text messages in your myPay account. 

2. Army active, Reserve, National Guard members and Defense agency employees can check if their claim has been completed in myPay.  Login and select ""Travel Voucher Advice of Payment"" from your main menu. If it has been completed, then you will see your advice of payment. 

3. Online Payment Status Tool: http://www.dfas.mil/militarymembers/travelpay/checkvoucherstatus.html 

Simply enter your Travel Order/Authorization Number to get the status of your payment. Please note that you will not be able to see the status of your claim until processing has commenced.

4. Casualty/Wounded Warriors should email dfas.indianapolis-in.jfa.mbx.casualty-customer-service@mail.mil.or call 317-212-3562 to find out the status of your voucher. For more information, please go to https://www.dfas.mil/MilitaryMembers/woundedwarrior/woundedwarriorpay/.
